First came life school. Then...
After working several years within the medical field, I felt a profound inner calling to shift my focus toward what I believe is paramount to health and wellness. This led me on a personal journey to embrace an integrative approach to care—one that recognizes the importance of addressing the whole person in a more cohesive way. My goal was to foster lasting results rather than offer temporary solutions, and with sincerity and a strong desire for change, I began weaving this holistic philosophy into my own daily life.
My academic journey began in nursing; however, a growing passion for understanding mental processes and human behavior guided me in a new direction. After earning my first undergraduate degree from Palm Beach State College, I transferred to Rowan University, where I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University, with a focus on trauma-informed care, gaining a deeper understanding of systemic dynamics and the impact of lived experience on individuals, couples, and families (including children).
In addition to my traditional academic training, I received certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research through the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) as part of the 2025–2026 cohort. This training enhances my ability to support clients through this integrative modality and—when legally authorized—to guide them within a safe and ethical environment. While this approach may not resonate with everyone, when engaged with reverence and respect, it can be a very meaningful therapeutic tool.
I also hold a bachelor’s degree in metaphysics and an ordination through the University of Sedona, which further support my holistic framework and integrative worldview.
These diverse educational paths have profoundly shaped my work, enriching both my relational approach and my understanding of human connection and well-being. I embrace this role with deep gratitude, recognizing it as both an honor and a privilege, and I remain continually inspired by the resilience and courage of those I work with.
I look forward to working with you soon!
